Description
Prof. Wolfgang Schlott is a literary and cultural academic at the Research Center for East European Studies at Bremen University. His studies are done in the field of comparative literature and culture. Since 1984 he is being engaged in reappraising East European dissent. He is the Editor of several anthologies on literature and art and author of individual studies on Russian and Polish literatures of the 20th century, on Russian youth culture and on Russian art. Curator of " Samizdat. Alternative Culture in Central and Eastern Europe from the 1960s to the 1980s" and co-curator of the photo-exhibition "Opposing Views".
