NEW EXHIBITION

New travelling exhibition of the Research Centre for East European Studies Bremen in cooperation with Gedenkstätte Deutsche Teilung Marienborn. On 13 August 2006, the 45th anniversary of the Berlin Wall, the exhibition “Opposing Views – Photographs of the Political and Cultural Opposition in Eastern Europe 1956 – 1989” will be opened at Marienborn, a former border crossing point between West and East Germany , nowadays a memorial of the division of Europe into two hostile military power blocs.
